From the CORC website:

We have got a 4 round mini series planned again for 2025, from May to August. We are continuing to use the area behind the pool, and will change up the course for each round. Some will be fast and flowy, with more climbing, tech and off-camber goodness for other rounds .

Please get in touch at xc_racing@corc.asn.au if you can help with course setting on Saturday afternoon. We will set up from 3pm, meet behind the pool.

For riders racing in B-Grade or C-Grade any bike is welcome, however for A-Grade Men, and A Grade-Women , in the spirit of cyclocross, a bike with drop bars is required.

The Junior race is on the adults course for those kids after a bit more of a challenge before stepping up to C-Grade. For Kids racing: please register as junior.

CrossVegas @ Dirty Docker 2025

From the event website:

Cross Vegas is a CycloCross off-road event. It is run over a technical course featuring grass, mud, sand and obstacles – all on a bike that’s not too far from a road bike.

BOOK TICKETS HERE!

DISTANCE: 2km
MEN’S: 40min + 1 lap
WOMEN’S: 40min + 1 lap
NEWCOMERS MEN&WOMEN: 25min + 1 lap
KID’S: 800m Lap, 5 laps

The course will be a lap of ~2km starting in the centre of the Fiesta Village and then looping around Lancefield Park, combining some of the unique natural features of the surrounding landscape.

Depending on which race you decide on, you will complete several laps before finishing back in the Fiesta Village.

The best thing about Cyclo-Cross is that it’s fun. This will not be an officially sanctioned race, but closer to an exhibition where it’s all about getting you involved. It’s traffic-free and safe for kids, so it is a great place to bring the little ones and get them started.

This is a great chance to get stuck into a new and exciting CX race, or just to have a go at CX in the newcomer’s category if you haven’t already raced.

If you have a bike, bring it along and give it a try. It doesn’t matter if you bring a CX, gravel or MTB as long as you bring the good vibes!

You do NOT need an AusCycling race membership to ride this.

Entries for this race will open soon - you’ll be able to enter this race by clicking here.

More details and entry links are on EntryBoss.

Keep an eye on the Facebook page of the host club, Canberra Off Road Cyclists for further details closer to the event.
