Eligible Race Categories
All Categories that are listed in the 2025 AusCycling Cyclo-Cross Series Guide are eligible to participate in this event. In addition to these categories, this event also offers the following categories as support races; * Little Crossers * Under 11 Boys & Girls * Under 13 Boys & Girls These categories are not part of the national series and do not attract national Series points or prizes.
A Riders series category is based on a riders age as at the 31 December 2026. The Series will recognise categories on UCI age categories as outlined in the Series Guide.
Masters riders may elect to race in the Elite category for any event however they will only earn Series points in the Elite category from those events where the individual raced in the Elite category. Points accumulated from non-elite categories do not count towards Elite Series points.
There is no separate U23 category for the Series, unless otherwise indicated. All U23 riders will race in either the Elite or Open category.
Awards and Series Points
Series Points - All National series categories, as outlined in the series guide, will attract National series points for results obtained within an official national series event.
Medals - The Podium winners of each category will receive a medal to signify their efforts.
Note Categories may be combined for race starts, in accordance with the AusCycling Technical Regulations but are to be awarded separately. For example, Masters 1, 2 and 3 categories may start in mass / waves together but will be awarded separately.
Licensing
Race Licenses: - All riders must hold an AusCycling Off-Road, or All Discipline Race Membership.
International Riders: - please note you need an International license. An in-country license from your local national federation does not cover you for international racing.
